pharmaceutical cartoning machine

Use this page to check how a pharmaceutical cartoning machine sits after primary packaging. Blister count, leaflet presence, reject reconciliation and room hygiene change the RFQ even when carton millimetres look familiar. Cartoning Machine Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner; a food-cartoner public page does not prove suitability for a medicine pack or supply its validation file.

Installation environment

Operating context
Pharmaceutical cartoning typically follows blister or bottle primary packaging. IMA’s public blister-line description places cartoning after that primary step; treat it as an interface question, not as an affiliation. Dry packaging rooms and rooms that see wet wash-down are different construction offers. Write cleaning chemicals and exposure into the inquiry rather than borrowing a family-page rating.
Installation environment: Upstream
Confirm how blisters, bottles or other packs arrive: count per carton, orientation, and who owns collation. The least stable stack in the range should be the trial pack. Incomplete insertion, crushed edges and leaflet misses belong in the same inspection note. Adjacent blister machines are not implied by this landing unless a supplier lists them as separately quoted extras.
Control boundary
Ask which product collation and insertion devices are supplied, whether a product confiner is included, and how blister count, leaflet presence and rejected packs are reconciled on the HMI or reject bin. Cycle time must be stated on complete acceptable cartons under the named medicine pack, not on an empty belt. PLC interface names and three-phase supply belong in the same brief.
Downstream
Discharge to a closer, checkweigher or case packer needs height, pitch and reject path written down. Representative production samples should travel with the RFQ so factories do not trial a stiffer dummy. Hygiene class, wash-down method and access for cleaning are part of installation environment, not a later option list.
